I can’t say much good about home page universe when there are too many other excellent web hosts out there. I suggest you keep looking for a different web host.

Sorry but I can’t say anything good about homepageuniverse. I used their web hosting for a couple years but was glad to finally move on to another and much better web host.

I don’t think Homepageuniverse is so bad like the others are saying. I’ve been using them for three years and everything seems to be okay.

I agree with previous review in that Home Page Universe had very slow customer support and my site seemed to be down quite often. Now that I’m using a cpanel with my new host, I much prefer it to the system that Home Page Universe had. Not that it was bad, but I just like the cpanel better now.

Where should I start?! I had Homepageuniverse for a couple years as my web host but that was only because I didn’t know any better at the time (I was a newbie that started with SBI). The problem is that there customer service was limited to a slow ticket system with very slow response. And then I would practically have to repeat my entire question again because they obviously didn’t read it the first time or maybe they suffered from A.D.D.? Meanwhile 3 or 4 days would have passed before I could finally get the issue resolved and all made worse because of the time lag (they were in England and I was in California). They had some rinky dink kind of forum but never answered the questions there. My site was down often because they didn’t have a back up system (I know. Amazing isn’t it?). There prices were very expensive when compared on a feature to feature basis with other better web hosts. They didn’t have a cpanel like the better ones. No Fantastico at the time like the better web hosting companies. There was a point where Homepage Universe was bought by someone else and things seemed like they were going to turn around for the better one day when someone actually called me on the phone to address an issue, but then everything went back to sucking. When I finally transferred all my web site hosting over to Hostgator, it took them forever because they had to do something manually (and didn’t do it until I started ragging on them) that normally happens automatically. Point is: I do NOT recommend Homepageuniverse to anyone for their website hosting!
