    You will need to install the network adapter driver. Then when the internet is plugged in it will find the connection.

    hey can you help me my icon dissapeared and my connections too and when i check the network connections it isnt there can you help me with this?

    If your icon has gone, so has the connection. Go to Control panel/system/device manager to see if your network adapter driver is missing. There will be a yellow ! next to it if there is a problem. If there is, click on the adapter name and re-install the driver.

    i have reinstalld windows xp and my local arena connection? is missing i cant find? it and every thing is pluged and works on another pc.
